Hi Ann, I've done another post, with some more stats and my own thoughts on the sale; which I hope will answer most of your questions. I felt my best sources of traffic were the deal sites; I posted myself on indiegamer and tigsoruce (and actually assembler games); but fans of Qwak also made some noise on retrogamer gpx32 and various amiga sites. I also spammed destructiod and they all jumped on my case! (it's cool, we're all friends now). I also got a little traffic from twitter; but I'm pretty new on twitter (30 followers now) so maybe that's not as big impact wise as it might have been. Nothing to speak of from the web 2.0 sites you mention, or facebook.

All the best,
Jamie. :)

The traffic boost is impressive.
Could you please share your traffic sources? Where did you advertise your promotion? Which web resources drove the most traffic to your site during the promotion?
Hotdeal sites like hotukdeals.com/bargainspy.co.uk/dealspwn.com ?
Indie forums such as forums.indiegamer.com and forums. tigsource.com ?
Sites, devoted to retro gaming and old computer games, such as retrogamer.net, lemonamiga.com, assemblergames.com ?
Non-windows sites such as gp32x.com, macrumors ?
Or "web2.0-themed" sites such as digg/reddit/stumbleupon?
Did you advertise your promotion via facebook?

Thanks!
