Nitro
This was a really fun game to make. I started working on the Atari ST version of Nitro, and had an almost complete game, before signing with Psygnosis.
There were a few differences between the Amiga and the ST versions of this game, perhaps the most notable being that the ST version only scrolled vertically, while the Amiga version had full 8-way scrolling.
The game was well received by the gaming press, and well regarded for it’s playability. Considered a classic by many!

This was one of my addictions on the Atari ST. I’ve never come across another racer with quite the same feel and finish as Nitro, and with games developers seemingly compelled to produce everything in glorious 3D, I doubt I’ll ever find one again.
If you ever get the urge to remake this game for the PC some time, you will have at least one devoted play-tester ready and waiting!
